WHAT IS THE OSHEN MAKEUP CASE?
The OSHEN case is the first cosmetics storage case made with recycled ocean plastic. The IT beauty product of the year, the case was designed by a modern makeup lover, for modern makeup lovers. We wanted to create a place for everything and have everything in its place. Why throw an expensive lipstick in the bottom of a drawer? Why have your blush sets here, there and everywhere? Store all your cosmetics in one place. The case fits over 200 pieces of makeup and tools.
WHAT MAKES THE OSHEN MAKEUP CASE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CASES?
The OSHEN case combines function, style and sustainability. It is the first makeup case made with recycled ocean plastic. It can store all your makeup in one place, more than 200 pieces! Plus it features a unique stand-up brush section so your brushes don't get damaged.
We wanted to create a better makeup case that was super functional, compact enough to fit under your counter, but pretty enough to sit on top. And making products that are more sustainable is the only way to go, so we spent a lot of time researching recycled materials and found a manufacturer that would use recycled ocean plastic. We're making beautiful, functional products while making our oceans cleaner.
WHO MAKES THE OSHEN MAKEUP CASE?

WHAT IS THE OSHEN MAKEUP CASE MADE OF?
The OSHEN case is made of a combination of ocean plastic and virgin plastic. We used the most ocean-bound plastic we possibly could. The plastic is sourced by Oceanworks, the largest global marketplace for sustainable materials.
WHAT IS OCEAN-BOUND PLASTIC?
Ocean-bound plastic refers to mismanaged plastic waste that is at significant risk of entering the ocean. Mismanaged means that it is not properly disposed of and thus polluting the environment. Ocean-bound plastic includes any mismanaged waste collected on land, beaches or waterways within 50 km of a coast. We share Oceanworks vision of turning off the tap on ocean plastic before it enters the ocean and that is why we selected ocean-bound plastic for this initiative.
DOES IT COST MORE TO MAKE A PRODUCT WITH OCEAN PLASTIC?
Using ocean plastic, instead of virgin plastic, increases the cost of material by about 20-25%. However, we feel that it is worth the increased cost and simply the right thing to do.

The OSHEN case is designed in Toronto, Canada, manufactured overseas close to where our material is sourced, and made with ocean plastic and ocean-bound plastic.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY OSHEN CASE?
Spilled a compact? Lip gloss oozed out? No problem! The OSHEN case is simple to clean.
1 - Just remove the stand-up brush insert, soak in lukewarm water and mild dish soap. Squeeze water from insert and lay on cloth to air dry.
2 - Take a clean cloth, wet it with warm water and a small pump of mild dish soap and rub the cloth over the case where any makeup has spilled. Use another clean cloth to wipe the case dry.
